"Walk For Positive Life 2017" has been successfully held.

This year, PLA organised the Walkathon for the fourth time. The venue was the Aberdeen Country Park.

The main aim of "Walk For Positive Life 2017" was to raise funds for the construction of a kindergarten, Hong Kong's first high-tech kindergarten. Its campus and classrooms will be infused with advanced technology, artificial intelligence and interactive multimedia teaching equipment. It will be the first kindergarten to teach each student according to his or her aptitude, to ameliorate their learning disabilities and improve their overall learning capacity, so that they can have the appropriate education that would fully develop their potentials and strengths.

Sincere thanks to all the enthusiastic participants: committee members, co-workers, volunteers, the walkers and the sponsoring companies and institutions, the strong support from whom has brought about the success of the fundraising walk.

Sincere thanks to the organising committee, members, co-workers and volunteers for helping to deliver materials to the venue early in the morning and performing their respective duties conscientiously so that all preparations could be carried out smoothly.

Sincere thanks to all the walkers, some of whom have participated in the fundraising walk for three years in succession. Thanks to your support, not only the entire walk was full of positive energy, but we are also given the impetus to continue our quest to reach our final goal.

Sincere thanks to Ms. Eugina Lau, PLA Ambassador for taking the time to attend the "Walk For Positive Life 2017" inauguration ceremony, sharing her feelings, encouraging everyone to pay more attention to the needs of children with autism and strongly supporting the Association’s plan to establish a school.

Sincere thanks also to two service groups for assisting in the walk: the Hong Kong St. John Ambulance providing medical service and helping the participants to finish their walk feeling safe and sound; and the Hong Kong Scout 113th Kowloon Group of Mary Rose School, which has for two years in a row deployed scouts to stand sentry at the walk.

"Walk For Positive Life 2017" has been successfully held, but our mission of establishing a school is yet to be accomplished. We still need to raise funds for building the kindergarten. We earnestly request you to continue giving donations to the kindergarten ministry and work with us to help children in need!
